I'm extra thankful for living in a large community while therapy to deal with driving is on hold. I attended a few events in the community last week. Eating out is still a challenge, not so much for making healthy choices, but most of the options are high in histamine, and this past week I was not able to tolerate a lot of the non-Nutrisystem menu items. As far as exercising, I've been walking in the pool when able and physical therapy continues to "up" the intensity of my routine. They feel they have done all they can for me and suggest a chiropractor as the next step.

Taking in and appreciating nature is a wonderful way to relax and take your mind off stressful situations. My go-to place to relax is our community's bay beach. It's not really for swimming, but its tranquil beauty is breathtaking and the wildlife surrounding it is awe-inspiring.

The scale was up .4 lbs. last week, I'm actually surprised it didn't show more of a gain. Nothing to do with the plan, just a very tough week as far as dealing with accident recovery issues. I will be blogging for Nutrisystem until the end of September. I've decided to continue on with the program either with their Weekends My Way plan or ala carte to maintain my weight loss.
