Starting Week 55 with Nutrisystem


Well, if I've learned anything in the last few weeks it's that you cannot lose weight if you are stressed...at least I can't. I gained 2.2 lbs. this week. It doesn't have anything to do with the plan, I haven't changed my menu, it's all due to my stress level and inflammation.

Soooo, relaxation is at the top of my to do list this week. In between doctor's appointments, my calendar is filled with a visit to the pool, hot tub, sauna and our little bay beach, pictured above. The accident caused me enough pain, anxiety and trauma; allowing it derail my weight loss any further is only adding to my stress.




On a happier note, the weather is getting warmer, the trees and flowers are blooming, and soon everyone will be firing up their barbeques for summer-time get-togethers. As I was enjoying a Nutrisystem Meatloaf Sandwich with charbroiled onions and sweet red peppers with a side salad of baby radicchio salad, I was thinking it's perfect to pop on the grill when you want to skip all the calories of a hot dog, hamburger and potato salad, yet not feel deprived. 



Weighed in at 138 lbs. this morning. Total 54-week weight loss after this week's gain is 42 lbs.
