When I reported my weight gain last week to Nutrisystem, I received a reply suggesting I let it roll off my shoulders and not consider it real. I thought "I can do that!" I took the advice, pretended it never happened, and had a much better mind-set the entire week because of it. Good reminder if you have an off day or even an off week, just move on as quickly as possible and don't let the negative results keep you down a second longer.
The grocery store where I was hit had a video in the parking lot and it captured the accident. The pic on the left is me trying to stop the car and on the right is where I landed after flying backwards. An employee called me to say the video is pretty graphic and he didn't know how I was walking. After seeing the video myself, two thoughts instantly came to mind...1) I'm positive the flash of light I saw upon impact was an Angel watching over me; and 2); If I landed carrying another 45 lbs., I would have surely broken some body parts! Thank Heaven for Angels and Nutrisystem!
It was warm enough yesterday to enjoy dinner on the porch. I'm happy Spring is here and for the first time, in I can't remember how long, I'm not dreading being seen in public in warm-weather clothes. Don't get me wrong, I still have a lot of work to firm up all the loose skin and that is now my focus. A friend said to me the other day "You look willowy.... do you feel willowy?" I laughed so hard. I do like the sound of it though! Bet you can guess what my new favorite word is! ☺☺☺ Okay, time to put my jiggly, willowy self on the scale....
