This past week marked 6 months since I started on the Nutrisystem plan and I'm loving it more and more every day. I tried on one of my favorite pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear for at least 2 years. I still can't wear them because now they are way too big! Happy problem!!
Our outdoor pool closed for the season yesterday and the indoor is closed for repairs. With all the rain this week, I didn't get in much exercise. I think it's time to add hand weights to my exercise routine to help tone. The week was also challenging as far as calories. I attended two parties with a lot of tempting menu items. I'd rate myself a "6" on handling the temptation. The first was a pot luck dinner which was delicious, but it was clear to me the next morning that I am still a work in progress when it comes to food choices. Not only did I wake up not feeling well physically, if there is such a thing as "eater's remorse", I definitely experienced it.
Although I had lost more prior to the weekend's parties, I ended the week down 1 lb. for a 27-week total of 33 lbs. Something else became clear this week and that is every time I step away from the plan, even if only for one meal, I miss it. I still have a lot to learn and I'm very grateful to continue on this journey with Nutrisystem for at least another 9 weeks.
