This week I reached a pivotal point in my weight-loss adventure. I had a lot of leftovers from the birthday celebration and after indulging in a couple of them on Monday and Tuesday, I realized once I stepped away from the plan, it would be very easy for me to keep going in the wrong direction. I pulled out my "before" pictures and knew I didn't want to go down that road again. I'm happy to report I'm back in full swing on the plan and determined to get the rest of this excess weight off. With decadent breakfasts like this one, there's really no reason for me not to stay on course ~
I went through my closet and filled several shopping bags with clothes that no longer fit which I am donating. For anyone starting on Nutrisystem, I encourage you to take your measurements before beginning your journey. I regret not doing so particularly on the weeks where the weight loss was minimal. Measuring the loss in inches will keep you motivated when the scale isn't moving as much as you think it should be. Since I didn't take my measurements, I tried a little experiment recently with a pair of shorts that fit like bike shorts last summer, comfortably but without much room to spare. ~
Both legs now fit in one side!!!!!! ☺☺☺☺☺
The loss also showed on the scale this week. The "1" disappeared, but that's 148, a loss of 1.6 lbs. for a 26-week total of 32 lbs.!!! YAYayay!!!
