Three parties this week in the community. I had to turn a fourth event down because it included breakfast and lunch and my stomach just couldn't handle such a dramatic menu change in such a short amount of time. As it was after the third party, I wasn't feeling great the next day. Even though I tried to make good choices, all of the events were in restaurants and it was just way too much salt, and other ingredients I am sensitive to, for my body to handle.
I'm realizing more and more eating foods that don't agree with me, just isn't worth it, no matter how good they may taste. After 30 weeks on Nutrisystem, there's hasn't been a single day that I've been bored with the menu choices. Just found this recipe for turning my fave Nutrisystem lunch into a lo-cal Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad on The Leaf. It looks and sounds scrumptious!
Also busy this past week packing, moving in less than 2 weeks to the new house.
Aside from packing and lifting boxes, I didn't get much exercise in other than a few walks. Caught a sunrise at the bay this morning which was exhilarating and the perfect way to start the day giving thanks.
Apologies, I didn't realize this pic was so blurry when I weighed in this morning until I uploaded it, and by that time I had already eaten breakfast. It read 144.2 which is a 1-lb. loss this week for a 30-week total of 35.8 lbs. Yippee skippee!!!
