I have a lot to celebrate this week ~ a birthday, family coming to visit, and I've reached another milestone in my weight-loss journey ~ 30 lbs. gone! Yeehaaa! I have NEVER lost 30 lbs. in my life or even attempted to do so. Honestly, I didn't think I had the willpower or that I would stick to a diet plan for this amount of time without caving and failing. The following have been key to my staying on track ~ 1) Planning and having a wide assortment of delicious food choices, even when traveling, so that I don't feel bored or deprived; 2) Being mindful of what goes into my body and having individually-packaged meals on hand so I don't overindulge or reach for something calorie packed; 3) Crafting an exercise routine that I enjoy; 4) Having a huge support system of encouraging family, friends and the NSNation team.
Sayonara to another lb. this week which brings my 24-week weight loss total to nearly 17% of my starting body weight. I'm feeling healthier and stronger every day and I don't wake up stiff, tired and achy like I did when I was carrying 30 extra lbs. around. Nutrisystem has been the best thing that has happened to me in a long time; and I'm looking forward to continuing this life-changing adventure with them. Speaking of change, I promised the NSNation team I would post a 'before and after' pic this week so here goes...
I look so sad, tired, and disgusted with myself in the 'before' picture ~ and I was! Hard as I tried, I wasn't successful at getting the weight off until I partnered with Nutrisystem. I am so grateful to them for giving me this opportunity; and I highly recommend giving the plan a try for anyone struggling to lose weight. I'm confident if you follow it, it will work for you too. ♥
