Starting Week 24 with Nutrisystem



Before I began this journey I promised the NS Nation team that I would work hard to make them proud. It's important to me that they see me reach my goal because I couldn't have come this far without them, so I'm thrilled that they invited me to continue on this adventure with them for another 12 weeks!!! Yippeee!!! I never would have dreamed I would look forward to being on a diet plan for 24 weeks, never mind 36. It certainly says a lot about the food, service and support Nutrisystem provides. The plan may not be for everyone and that's okay, but I'm convinced those who follow it, will lose weight. 



I was traveling for a few days last week and didn't get in as much exercise as I have been lately and it showed on the scale. I'm concerned about my weight creeping back up in the winter so I need to start thinking about an exercise routine for the colder months. I enjoy water jogging and will continue with that in our indoor pool and maybe add in more swimming. I also need to continue to add variety to my powerfuels. Eliminating dairy powerfuels for three days last week didn't work for me, I substituted pistachio nuts and they didn't satisfy my appetite. I'll continue to work with my Nutrisystem Counselor, Jaclyn, to try different ideas to help boost my metabolism. 


Just a .2 lb. loss this week, but, hey, that's another .2 lbs. closer to my goal, right? Going to give it my all to reach the 30-lb. milestone by next week. Either way, I'll be including a 'before and after' pic of my 24-week results in next week's update.
