Starting Week 14 on Nutrisystem

I'm in my fourth month on Nutrisystem and I feel as though I could stay on this plan forever. With the exception of adding a sugary creamer to my coffee on a couple of occasions, I have not deviated from the plan during the past thirteen weeks. Although I've been tempted to "cheat" a few times, one of the things that has helped me is having a huge support system. I think having a mentor or someone to encourage or inspire you when you're trying to lose weight is not only an asset, but a necessity. In addition to my Nutrisystem Counselor, Jaclyn, who I can reach out to anytime I have a question or need advice, I have many friends and family who have been cheering me on throughout this journey. The other day at the pool I overheard a friend talking about me to a neighbor, she said "Barbara's on Nutrisystem, doesn't she look great?!". ☺ We all know it's one thing when someone pays you a compliment and you think they're just being kind, but when you hear someone compliment you to another person, you can't help but think "Wow, they must really mean it!". 

I'll be celebrating the 4th with 48 of my neighbors. We've chartered a boat and are going to watch the fireworks at Dewey Beach. We did it last year and it was fantastic. We each bring an appetizer or dessert to share and our beverage of choice. Fingers crossed that the rain holds up and that I won't be too tempted by all the yummy dishes. While I'm thinking about my neighbors, I have to share a picture of one of ours. He and his parents stop by for dinner every night. They usually just munch on a few things, but I think this little guy is hoping I will share some of my Nutrisystem with him. Sorry buddy, no can do, but I know where you can place an order! ☺

Woohooooo lost another lb. and I've entered the 150's...just barely, but I'm there!! This makes a 13-week total of 20.2 lbs. Yeeeeeha!!
