Starting Week 13 on Nutrisystem

Week 13 is here and so is summer! While I spent most of the winter indoors hiding from the world, I'm spending more and more time outdoors while on this journey. I'm also trying to stay on track in between all the summer get-togethers which always involve a variety of tempting foods.

Nutrisystem includes an Eating Out Guide with your first order which is filled with tips and smart choices. While some have reported the weight is falling off of them, my lbs. are a bit more stubborn. I've worked hard to shed each and every pound so I'm now super conscious about calories especially when eating out. This past week I chose coleslaw over fries at one restaurant and passed entirely on the chips at one of my fave local eateries, Paradise Grill. That may not sound like much, but for me, it is HUGE! I also passed on the sugary frozen drinks and had water with lemon instead. If you're looking for low-cal frozen drink recipes, I found this on Nutrisystem's The Leaf ~

My fave food pick for this week is the Nutrisystem Whole Wheat Ricotta Crepes. The creamy ricotta filling with tomato and roasted red pepper sauce is fantastic. The dinner entree includes 2 crepes and for a total of just 240 calories!

Although this isn't the end of my Nutrisystem journey, the #NSNation team asked that a "before" and "after" picture be posted at the end of the 12-weeks so here it is...

I can see a difference and can't wait to see what changes the next 12 weeks will bring. I shed another .6 lbs. this week for a 12-week total of 19.2 lbs. Thank you, Nutrisystem!
