Starting Week 12 on Nutrisystem


As I begin my 12th week on Nutrisystem, I've been reflecting on the last three months, the highs and lows of this journey and what did and didn't work for me. Losing weight at any age is not easy, attempting to lose 40-50 lbs. in my mid-50s sounded nearly impossible, at least to me it did. Although I haven't lost as much as some of the other bloggers have reported who started on this journey at the same time as I did, I think my biggest success so far was in taking the first step. 



As I wrote in one of my earlier posts, years ago a friend tried Nutrisystem and didn't have great things to say about it. I wish I hadn't let her experience be the voice in my head these past few years during which I struggled to lose even 5 lbs. The best advice I can give to anyone that is having a hard time with weight loss is to take that first step and give Nutrisystem a try. Like me, you may find it's one of the best decisions you'll ever make. 


Thinking that this would be my last week on Nutrisystem, I had planned to share my "Top 10" fave foods for those who are considering starting on the plan and not sure what to order. Thankfully, it's not my last week and although I haven't tried all 150+ items yet, I like love so many of the meals, that 10 is not enough. So here is a list of my faves in no particular order:

Great post! I too have lost on Nutrisystem. I lost 50 lbs. Its been a year and half now and im still maintaining with Nutrisystem. Hope you will head over and visit me and check out my journey (tab) too. Good luck on reaching your goal!!!
