As I start my 6th week on the plan, I'm as motivated as I was on day one and excited to continue this journey. I'm so grateful to the Nutrisystem team for selecting me to be a NS Nation Blogger and giving me this opportunity. I love trying the different menu choices and discovering new low-calorie favorites. To think I used to eat a 900-1,000 calorie dinner and find I'm just as satisfied with a 240 calorie Nutrisystem meal, it's pretty incredible.
For this week's fave pick, I chose Nutrisystem's breakfast Cinnamon Roll which is shipped frozen and warmed in the microwave ~ it's pure scrumptiousness! I enjoy it on cold, rainy days because it's an instant pick-me-up. And at 140 calories vs. the 880-calorie cinnamon bun found at the mall, it's a great example of not having to deprive yourself from your favorite foods while on the Nutrisystem plan.
I missed a few days of exercising this week, but I did get in a great workout in at our community's indoor pool. Although I'm still embarrassed to be seen in a bathing suit, I noticed the swimsuit I wore was easier to squeeeeeze into than the last time I put it on. ☺ I'm looking forward to water aerobics in our outdoor pool when it reopens for the season in a few weeks.
Another thing I did differently this week was not weighing myself each morning. My Nutrisystem counselor, Jaclyn, suggested weighing in just once a week because fluctuations in weight can cause stress which makes it difficult to shed pounds. Crossing my fingers it worked, let's see ~
Starting Weight ~ 180
