When you're looking for a unique gift idea or just a special treat for yourself, checkout Amazing Clubs. So many fun clubs to choose from including Wine, Dessert, Beer, and Dinner/Movie. Available in seasonal, 3, 6, or 12-month subscriptions, it's definitely the gift that keeps on giving. We tried the Pasta Club which includes two packages of pasta and two jars of sauce. The Flying Noodle Primavera Sauce and Garlic and Dill Angel Hair were fabulous. The sauce was chunky and light and included bits of summer squash, onion, zucchini and green peppers. The pasta tasted like it was made from scratch...very fresh an tasty. Pasta Club subscriptions start at $26.95. Available at amazingclubs.com.
Want the convenience of enjoying gourmet dinners at home without all the work? Say hello to Cuisine Solutions. We tried their Chef-prepared Chicken Marsala which tasted as though it was prepared at our favorite restaurant. The chicken was plump, juicy, and cooked to perfection in the oven in 25 minutes {can also be heated in the microwave}. The mushrooms were tender, the marsala sauce flavorful and the consistency was "just right". The sauce had a bit too much oregano in it for me, although any amount of oregano is too much for me. That aside, from delivery to dinner table, Cuisine Solutions gets a perfect score. $10.99 for a box of two chicken breasts in marsala sauce. Available at Costco, Sam's Club, Wegmans and online at cuisinesolutions.com.
For the perfect barbeque, be sure to invite Lobel's. We tried their 8-oz USDA Prime Ground Beef Wyoming Burgers which were huge! We actually made two out of them. My Dad was a butcher so I know a bit about the different cuts and quality of beef. The Wyoming Burgers are top notch and delish! We also tried the Seasoned Split Chicken which were unbelievably juicy and the seasoning divine. It smelled so good, I was actually scraping it off the package so we didn't waste any. ☺ Two 8-oz. Wyoming Burgers retail for $14.98 and the Seasoned Split Chicken is $15.98 at Lobels.com.
Personalized Ice Cream that tastes as good as its clever names, Yes Please! Although I can't cook, I can make a mean Cookies 'n Cream ice cream so that's exactly what I ordered up from my new friends at eCreamery. Of course, I had to see if it was as good as mine and was curious how it would hold up shipping all the way from Omaha Nebraska. The verdict? AMAZING! Gelato, sorbet and ice cream all arrived in perfect condition and are fresh and fantastic. Custom flavors can also be created. This is such a fun gift or personal indulgence. Four pints retail for $49.99. Shipping, custom flavors, and personalization are additional. ecreamery.com.
