PharmaSkincare Review and Giveaway

It's been awhile since we featured PharmaSkincare so it was a pleasant surprise when we heard from them. PharmaSkincare Nutrient Makeup features nature's most enriching botanicals, vitamins, alpha hydroxy acids and essential oils. 

They sent us a beautiful gift box filled with their Anti-Aging Nutrient Make-up to try! First up was the Foundation ~

Creme Beige which was a true color match to the web image. This is a thick liquid foundation which comes in a tube. I mixed it with a bit of moisturizer because my skin is dry and it was difficult to blend on my skin, although it did provide good coverage. Available in 13 shades, it retails for $30.



Eye Brightener ~

PharmaSkincare Nutrient Makeup is designed to nourish, refine, balance and energize the skin to ensure improvement of skin condition, feel and appearance. This product was easy to blend and seemed to have little light-diffusing particles so my dark circles didn't look as prominent. A .33-oz tube retails for $40.


Mascara ~

Formulated to darken, thicken and lengthen lashes. Every now and then I have an urge to wear blue mascara, but at my age I have to be careful as some are too bright. The Indigo shade is perfect for me as it is a deep midnight blue, even darker than appears in the photo. I love how it separated my lashes. Also available in Sabel, Mahogany, and Henna. For just a touch of blue, apply Sabel and then Indigo just on the tips of lashes. $22.50.



Blush ~

This arrived in a pretty brushed silver compact with mirror, but the Carnation Pink color looked much lighter than it appears in the picture. I thought it would be way too light for my complexion and not a good match for my coloring. Funny thing, when I applied it, it was almost identical to the image and the color was perfect for me. It went on smooth, provided long-lasting color and was my favorite product of those we tried. $30


Lip Gloss ~

I often wear two shades of lip gloss. A trick I learned years ago is to apply a bit of the lighter shade to the center of the lower lip to create a fuller, pouty look. We tried 0200LG {upper right} 0501LG {lower right} which were beautiful together. The lighter shade can also be applied over lipstick. Vie Collection Luxury Skincare Gifting Event

Instant Cleansing Milk ~ 

First, the scent of the Instant Cleansing Milk is delightful, it's a delicate floral scent. It has a creamy consistency, thicker than what you might imagine from a cleansing milk and foamed well which I prefer in a cleanser. The ingredient I was most interested in was Hyaluronic Acid which stimulates collagen and retains water inside the skin to fill in wrinkles. This was the first cleanser I've used that claims to fill in and plump wrinkles and this intrigued me, see below for my results. The cleansing milk was not at all abrasive, gritty or greasy. It did a great job of cleansing my skin and left it very soft. An 8.4 fl. oz retails for $53.50. Available at fine salons and lespausa.com. 

Smoothing Toning Lotion ~ 

I haven't used a toner in years. I use an oscillating cleanser which I thought removed every trace of dirt and makeup. After using the Smoothing Toning Lotion, I see I was wrong as there was still a trace of makeup on the cotton puff. This product is a clear liquid, and like the cleansing milk, has a lovely fresh feminine scent. It is made with the same key ingredient for stimulating collagen. Is it possible a cleanser and toner can provide anti-aging benefits? I used these two products together for several weeks morning and evening. Together, I found they did an exceptional job of temporarily filling in wrinkles. I say temporarily because there were a couple of evenings I didn't take my makeup off {gasp} and my skin was no where near as smooth the next morning as it was after having used these products. Autumn Spice Tea ~

Spicy saffron, coriander and sweet orange make up this quintessential Fall fragrance. So warm and inviting, you won't want to leave home!

Turbinado & Cream ~

This was the tightest race yet, but my pick for my newest fav is the intoxicating turbinado & cream. OMGosh!!! I tend to prefer bakery scents and this is the icing on the cake! Creamy buttermilk, cinnamon and caramel are combined to create this sugary scentsation. I think this candle is going to help sell my house!
