A re-interpretation of the Oriental family, its lasting power comes from a base of amber, vanilla, and musk which is lightened by fresh orange flower, heliotrope, spicy carnation and Turkish rose. I'm not a perfumer so I will use layman's terms ~ exotic, romantic and sexy is what came to mind when I first opened the box. I wore musk when I was younger, it's funny how a scent can take you right back to another time or remind you of a person or place. This is a bit on the stronger side when first applied and has a long-lasting scent. The candle included is poured in a glass votive and completely envelopes the room with its exotic scent when lit. I enjoy a richly fragrant candle and Miller Harris did not skimp on perfume oils as this has an enormous throw for its size. Even unlit it can scent a room.
