Goodnighties Review and Giveaway

We were contacted by the folks at Goodnighties to see what we thought of their pajamas made with patented Ionx fabric. According to the website, Goodnighties neutralizes stress by stimulating blood flow with negative ions that are blended into the fabric to tired strained muscles resulting in a more restful night's sleep. The company promises you will fall asleep faster and stay longer in a deeper stage of REM sleep. I thought to myself "this I have GOT to see! We received Goodnighties' Cap-Sleeved Knee-Length Gown ~

It is a pretty nightgown with adorable lightly ruffled cap sleeves. It's lavender with chocolate brown trim, very soft, sort of a cross between cotton and satin. The fabric also helps wick away moisture is anti-bacterial. The real question, for me, was could a nightgown really provide a more restful night's sleep? I found it a bit impossible to believe. 


Lately, I have been having trouble falling asleep, waking up in the middle of the night and not able to fall back to sleep for hours. The first night I wore the gown, I actually fell right to sleep...believe it or not, almost as soon as my head hit the pillow! I slept soundly through the night, a full 8 hours! I was still skeptical the next morning thinking it must be because I was sleep deprived. I looked forward to putting it to the test again. The second night I fell asleep quickly and didn't awaken until morning. Hmmm, I thought, "maybe there is something to this"? The third night I didn't fall asleep instantly, but I did sleep through the night without tossing and turning. I still don't understand the science behind it, but the nightgown is super comfortable and lived up to its claim of providing a more restful sleep...and that's enough for me! Post Review Observation ~ It's been a week since I've worn this nightshirt and I have had trouble sleeping several nights. Wore the gown again last night {4/7}, made a cup of tea, took a sip and put it on my night table. That's the last thing I remember, I was out like a light! I'm beginning to think this nightgown has magical powers! ☺If you have trouble sleeping, you've got to give this a try.
