Antho Review and Giveaway

I'd like to take credit for discovering Antho, but they found us and I couldn't be happier that they did. Antho is a family-owned, eco-friendly, organic skincare company whose products will delight your senses. Pure Soy Candle ~

Antho has a variety of scented candles available as well as an unscented option. We tried French Vanilla {LOVE} and even before lighting it, I kept removing the cork stopper to take a whiff, it is ADDICTING! It has a rich, warm, sweet scent, and although it would make a great gift, you really should to treat yourself to one. It burns cleanly and evenly with no waste. The candles are packaged in boxes made of 100% recycled paper and printed with soy-based inks. The smoky apothecary jar is charming and would blend well with almost any decor. The 8.5-oz. candle has a burn time of 55 hours and retails for $19.95. Is it too early to add this to my Christmas list?


Organic Shower Gel ~

The Lavender Fields body wash is ultra calming as it cleanses and seems to wash even stress away. It's perfect to use while relaxing in a bubble bath just before bed....aaah. I love the scent of lavender and this is light, lovely and very spa-like. A 12-oz. bottle retails for $16.95.


Tender as Petals Face Cleanser ~

I wasn't expecting the cleanser to be a powdered formula, but as with the apothecary containers, there was an Old World charm about it. To use, I would recommend pouring about 1/4 teaspoon onto a wet washcloth. I tried it first it with my Clarisonic but too much product was wasted. The powdery cleanser has an extremely light floral scent with a hint of rose. I find some cleansers to be so drying and was surprised how incredibly moisturizing this was particularly for a powder. It also did a great job of removing makeup. I do wish it foamed a bit, although the ingredients that create a sudsy foam may also be what causes dryness. Either way, I would still recommend this product because it thoroughly cleanses while leaving the skin moist. A 2.1-oz. bottle retails for $16.95.
